Thank you for visiting my site. You will find a lot of information about several family's here. My main interest, to start with, is my Horrocks surname. This led me almost immediately to the Horrocks Ancestral home of Bolton England. Tracing my English roots, I have made some wonderful discoveries with other surnames such as Jeffes, Pickering, Wovenden, Freakley, Wynne, Boss, Heywood, Willcoxson and Oddy.

On my maternal side, my main focus was on my Brown and Glass lines. There is extensive research on both of these surnames. This research lead me to the following surnames: Dill, Maddox, Modglin, Boswell, Ambrose, Barnhill and Stateler. Most of this history is based around southern Illinois and western Kentucky were these families were pioneers. Interesting to also find that there are several Revolutionary War and Civil War veterans in the family.

I would like to take credit for all this research but I can't. There have been many of you from around the world that have added so much to this work in process.

The most important and interesting ramification from this research is finding some many extended family members from around the world. Besides here in the USA, my extended relatives are located in Australia, England and South Africa. Before this search in concluded, I am sure we will add several more countries.

As I stated before, this is a work in progress. I currently have over 1,000 images loaded on this site and only attached a few of them to their proper individuals and places. This will take several months to complete.
