Horrocks DNA Surname Study

The HORROCKS DNA Surname Study is established for HORROCKS males that are interested in participating in a Y-DNA study.  I set this up to try to:

ó  Identify others who are related

ó  Prove or disprove theories regarding ancestors

ó  Solve brick walls in your research

ó  Determine a location for further research

ó  Validate existing research

FamilyTreeDNA does all the testing and the matching.  Because this is part of a DNA surname study, costs are less than if you do it on your own.

As results are known, they will be posted here.

As of August 17, 2007..........................There are 4 people who what undergone testing and 3 of the 4 are related.  Nigel, Gene and Lloyd have CONFIRMED their genealogical research and relationship through DNA testing.  Hal is still waiting.............
